I create sculptural jewelry, fabricated primarily in sterling silver, that merges traditional metalsmithing with contemporary, urban design. Drawing inspiration from the adornment traditions of Africa and Eurasia, I approach each piece as both a study in material, repetition, and form, and as a wearable statement of strength and individuality.
Working with hammer forging, fabrication, soldering, and reticulation, I shape hand-formed elements—discs, links, and fragments—into flowing, organic compositions. Natural stones and leather are often integrated, contrasting the precision of silver with tactile, organic surfaces. Patinas and textures deepen the forms, creating subtle shifts of light, shadow, and pattern.
Designed to move with the body, my jewelry combines bold scale and intricate detail, creating sculptural pieces that are simultaneously contemporary, dynamic, and personal.
