I make functional wheel thrown pottery. My pots have a simple, rustic feeling, drawing inspiration from my Greek heritage. I focus on combining practical designs with artistic aesthetics. I formulate my own glazes so I have complete control over the making process. I use layers of glaze to give the surface extra interest, and often incorporate carved and unglazed areas to show off the natural color of the clay. I want people to connect to my pots through daily use. With this in mind, I design my work to be balanced and easy to use, as well as dishwasher and microwave safe. I hope people will enjoy using my pots as much as I enjoy making them.
