Molly Fiber Art
Spring Rittenhouse 2025
I weave my art with the intention of creating connections to the natural world around us. My imagery recreates moments in nature that are universally resonant and recognizable by all creatures. My hope is that my work brings with it a reminder of what we as humans have in common with the other beings in our world, as well as an appreciation of the beauty that surrounds us.

Humans have been hand-dyeing and weaving textiles for thousands of years. It is a practice that transcends geographic and cultural divisions. I am passionate about maintaining traditional and environmentally safe fiber practices. It gives me great joy to keep eco-friendly textile traditions alive by dyeing my fibers with foraged and home grown plants, and by using non-computerized weaving techniques.
