I wanted to add color to my fine metal jewelry and with some research I came across wood turners and their ability to add crushed gemstones to their woodwork. I applied a similar concept and refined my process over the last three years. I have made multiple sample pieces to make sure my inlay can withstand the wear of everyday life. It is important to me as a maker that my work is sustainably made and heirloom quality.
