My work is based on all of the loves I’ve had from childhood: animals & biology, geology, nature, old etchings and lithographs, illuminated manuscripts, art history, realism, world indigenous art, and a deep desire to bring joy, peace and life to others. I have a God-given sense of joy, peace, whimsy and compassion, and I work to infuse my meticulously patterned drawings with these so the viewer can experience them too.
