Drawing from my background in graphic & fashion design, vessels are formed using patterns. Slab rolled clay is cut & seamed to form shapes. Textures & over lapping glazes make forms tactile with sensual surface which attracts the eyes & hands of the collector. After slab rolling the clay, i start with a basic form. As the clay begins to take shape it speaks to how it wants to look with all the details.
