I was drawn to Mokume and Damascus for it’s beauty, complexity, and the science of its metallurgy. When on backpacking trips, I usually brought home jewellery that represented the country in which I was travelling. When I began to create my own designs, travel was always in my thoughts and moved my designs in that direction.
