As a two-dimensional glass artist creating beveled and stained-glass windows for forty-five years, I added fused glass to my art ten years ago. I am an avid gardener and flower lover; my art gravitates to the natural world. My latest work uses fused glass as my main medium, creating thin glass wafers for each botanical or pollinator part. Each piece of glass goes through 3-5 kiln firings, fused for a dimensional surface. Combining a stained and beveled glass border finishes each piece, adding small color and textural details to compliment the fused glass panel.
