My vision on photography reflects a novel path of combining images to produce “art paintings” by manipulating the images into layers, using the natural colors that editing programs bring out in the originals. I often let the results of the layers dictate the direction of where the art will take me; it will bring out a concept that will either create new paths, modifying existing ones, or take me places I didn’t know were there. One photo may be used to create a piece, and I have used as many as twenty seven to achieve my end result There are no rules. I really like the challenge of this creative thinking process. To paraphrase Miles Davis, I try to "play what isn't there".
