While most forms of sculpture are additive or reductive, I enjoy the challenge of breathing life into a sheet of steel wire mesh, where no material can be added or removed, and no crease erased. Within my focus on figurative art, I'm largely inspired by dancers, who embody our emotions and collectively tell our stories, without uttering a single word. The language of our gestures is universal, and that is what I seek to capture and eternalize in my work.
