My work is inspired by the history, craftsmanship, and character found in reclaimed whiskey and wine barrels. Each barrel carries years of tradition, having aged spirits or wine before finding a second life in my workshop. I’m drawn to the challenge of honoring that history while transforming the oak into functional pieces for modern spaces. The grain patterns, char marks, and natural imperfections make every piece truly one-of-a-kind. Through careful woodworking and finishing techniques, I highlight the natural beauty of the wood while preserving its story. What inspires me most is giving these materials new purpose—creating distinctive furniture and décor that bring warmth, authenticity, and conversation into homes, restaurants, and gathering spaces.
