As an artist, there isn’t much in this world that doesn’t interest me, at least for a moment, and I explore wide and varied subject matter and mediums in my work. Mostly, in art, color and light holds my interest. I enjoy simplifying landscape to shape and color. I enjoy the vividness of color and light, the ethereal nature of lightwaves, and what is outside the range of human sense perception.

I enjoy observing change and deterioration, in nature and in human conceived empire over nature, the transition to an altered or original state, reinforcing the fact that nothing, including art and humanity, is permanent. In this act of transmutation I find engrossment and endless compositions.
