TextileJukebox
Brookdale Park Spring 2025
TextileJukebox was born as my long time passion for music and style. I started "creating" with trimming fur off my grandma's hat when I was about 5 y.o. :) But the later attempts were more successful. I started sewing after my grandma showed me how to operate her old vintage sewing machine, then I was spending weekends at her house making clothing for myself. About the same time I developed my passion for music ( all forms of rock, blues, folk and country).
I'm a creator, owner , photographer and the model behind TextileJukebox which makes the process challenging sometimes but always entertaining.
I'm a self-taught seamstress and designer. I use pre-made patterns and modify them into designs that I want to create. I completed the flat pattern design class in The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York to perfect my skills.
The items in my shop are named after the songs I've been listening to along the way. Sometimes the designs are created based on the tunes, sometimes it's inspired by the fabric and the name is chosen afterwards.
The magic is happening in my home studio in New Jersey with music always being heard in the background. TextileJukebox clothing reflects the aesthetic of the free spirited, bohemian, like-minded, creative and smart people who like to dream, to travel, be open-minded and sophisticated, who cherish history, traditions, and family roots.
