My artistic vision is formed by experiences with the people and places around me: visually interesting objects and hallowed places, emotional memories, events and their associations.
​My paintings uncover the treasures hidden away in still places. They won't call for our attention but often speak to us in gentle whispers that welcome us the closer we approach.
They highlight a moment in an ordinary day that brings light to something wonderfully beautiful that has been asleep inside us for far too long. Our own sacred stories are spoken back to us as our hearts are quiet and still long enough to be reminded of what we once held as precious that somehow slipped from our hearts and minds.
