I always seem to find value in objects discarded by our throwaway society. Many components are hunted down at flea markets. Others are broken pieces just waiting for new life. My influences are as vast as the materials I use: my exposure to Inuit art and culture in Northern Manitoba to hand sewing quilts and using wire as a thread with life embedded in it.
