I devote significant time to researching and considering the subjects I wish to paint. Inspiration flows from my life, my friends and family, the environment around me, and my faith. Additionally, I find creative energy in the works of other artists, both living and deceased. Some of my favorite artists include Christian Hook, John Milan, Audubon, Escher, Dali, and Mary Cassatt, among others.
