I am inspired by the places around me - the movement of water, changing light, city skylines, architecture, and the atmosphere of a landscape. Often, a particular view, memory, or feeling becomes the starting point for a painting. Through abstraction, I explore these impressions using color, texture, and layered surfaces. My work is less about capturing a specific scene and more about expressing the mood, energy, and sense of wonder that a place can evoke.
