Making beautiful, functional pottery has always been important to me. At a friend's urging, I started writing on my white porcelain pieces. At first, short sayings about life. Next came words of friendship. After my daughter suggested sayings about daughters, a whole line of pottery that speaks to the soul emerged. Over the years customers have made special requests about relationships that became part of Porcelainspirations. Lately, I've been adding colored clays to my white porcelain because I needed to bring color back into my pottery world. These pieces, with their vivid hues, satisfy another part of my soul.
