My artwork draws heavily from my background in art and architectural restoration and incorporates images and impressions from my time spent living around the world, including my current home in New York City. I enjoy the connection to history derived from using traditional materials and techniques such as oil paint and gold leaf and incorporate these into contemporary compositions to evoke movement, texture and shifting light. Each piece reflects my love of travel, whimsy, and a passion for exploring techniques new and old.
