The inspiration behind my work is interaction with places in time. How they are, were, and how they will change. The more I learn to read the landscape, the more it tells me. What at first seems solid and eternal, when viewed with older eyes, is a freeze frame of a world in motion. Things are changing faster now than ever before, and one can witness many things disappearing and others spreading to fill the voids they’ve left behind. The land around us is telling us a story, if we choose to listen.
