I wanted to create natural looking vessels to display dried weeds, pods, and feathers. Elevating the natural objects to something worthy of display and notice. My work is first wheel thrown and then altered, carved, and burnished. The pieces are wrapped in Aluminum foil with sulfates, and dried plant materials and fired outside with wood and sawdust.
