I'm inspired by the banal in my immediate environment—the forms, shapes, textures and patterns overlooked by most. I try to find the extraordinary in the ordinary and translate it into something wearable. Other inspirations are Japanese design, wabi-sabi, sculpture, lighting design, textile design, architecture and more.
