My inspiration begins with the materials themselves. Working with discontinued textiles from mills around the world, I let each fabric guide the design process. Texture, pattern, and scale determine placement-whether a textile becomes the base, flap or focal point of a piece. Rather than imposing a fixed design, I respond to what each material suggests, allowing the final form to emerge through that interaction. This approach ensures every piece is one-of-a-kind, shaped by the inherent character of the fabric.
