In my woodturning shop, I get a chance witness something beautiful of nature, and to transform it with my own nature. To be able to use natural, often found material; to turn it on my lathe, reveal form and grain, embellish and highlight it's natural beauty, and eventually, send it off to its final home, is a privilege that will never get old.
