Recently, I’ve been drawn to creating black and white images. “Seeing” the landscape in this way allows me to transform light and forms into evocative compositions that better express the energy and awe I feel in the field.
When I look through the viewfinder I slow down, I’m more present and I see and feel more deeply. Rather than photographing a subject, I’m composing a moment of perception.
I hope these images let you share my depth of wonder and delight.
