Rittenhouse Fall 2026
My work is hand fabricated in 18K gold and sterling silver. Living and working in New York City, I draw inspiration from the ways nature disrupts and reclaims the industrial landscape that surrounds me. I explore this tension through the creation of hand-fabricated textures, which I then alter through processes of modification, deconstruction, and reconstruction. These techniques allow forms to evolve organically, balancing deliberate craftsmanship with unpredictability.
The resulting work reflects a dialogue between opposing forces: the rigidity of industry and the persistence of nature. Each piece carries a sense of material history, appearing both contemporary and timeless. By combining refined metals with weathered surfaces and fractured forms, my work evokes the feeling of ancient relics shaped by a modern environment, suggesting endurance, transformation, and the passage of time.
