My work is a physical exploration of emotion, memory, and the landscapes – both internal and external – that shape you. I paint exclusively with oil on canvas, using the palette knife as my primary tool. This approach allows me to build rich textures, layered color fields and bold forms that evoke immediacy and rawness. The palette knife is not just a means to apply paint – it’s an extension of my body and intuition. Its resistance and unpredictability force a dialogue between control and spontaneity. Each stroke carries the energy of its making, leaving behind ridges, grooves, and imperfections that speak to the physical act of creation. The thick impasto and layered surfaces invite touch, while the vibrant color palettes reflect shifting emotional states. In a world increasingly mediated by screens and speed, I see my work as an invitation back to the physical, the imperfect, the human.
